I threw out all of my course notes when I graduated.

If that sounds scary, I understand.

That’s because your school didn't teach you the research skills you need to learn new information and stay current with the evolving medical field.

You probably want to cling to those notes for dear life.
After teaching hundreds of students and practitioners how to grow their skills in critical appraisal, I know I can help you too.

I know you face challenges when using Pubmed for research.

Well, look no further because this guide was written just for you!

Over and over I see Naturopathic Doctors encountering the same problems when they try doing research on their own

My guess is that:
  • You’re getting too many or too little hits back.
  • You don’t have a way to organize your research and then lose most of it on your computer.
  • You don’t always know what you’re reading or how to incorporate it into your practice.
I promise, YOU can learn to get better at this.
I can show you how!
With this quick and easy guide, I’ll show you how to:
  • Use Pubmed more effectively so you get back the results you’re looking for
  • Organize your findings so that they are always at the tip of your fingers
  • Develop protocols to use with your patients
  • Evolve your practice to be more evidence based
HI, I'M Dr. jordan robertson, Nd &
CEO OF THE CONFIDENT CLINICIAN
Before I became an ND, my undergraduate degree was in research methodology, statistics and communication. The entire focus of my degree was in training how to be an effective reader-of-research and how to effectively communicate that research to others.
After graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, I saw that there was a gap in undergraduate training on integrative medicine.
So I developed courses on effective research in integrative medicine and nutrition for McMaster University and went on to teach those courses for over 10 years.

The foundational research and critical appraisal skills I taught in those courses turned out to be the most valuable assets in my practice. They have helped me land teaching and clinical positions. They are the basis for all my successful work with patients over my entire career.

I have taught these skills to the other NDs in my Confident Clinician Community so they too can learn how to adapt their practices to meet the evolving standards of care.
